个人简介:

Thomas Laux,博士,教授,博士生导师,“长江学者奖励计划”讲席学者,德国弗莱堡大学生物学院和高等研究院教授(W3 Professor)。Thomas Laux教授长期致力于植物干细胞命运决定和植物早期胚胎发生的分子机理研究。他作为项目负责人主持多项德国科学基金会(DFG)重大专项及德国重点研发计划。相关研究工作发表于Cell (3)Nature (1)Science (1)Genes & Development (2)Developmental Cell (5)Current Biology (4)The Plant Cell (6)等国际顶尖学术杂志,并多次应邀为CellTrends in plant scienceThe Plant CellCurrent BiologyEMBO JournalAnnual Review of Plant BiologyCurrent Opinion in Plant Biology等国际著名期刊撰写综述。Thomas Laux教授于2008-2016年获邀担任Cell Stem Cell编委。因其在植物发育生物学领域的杰出贡献,他于2002年和2009年先后荣获法国科学院August Chevalier研究奖和德国遗传与发育生物学学会Cornelia Harte奖项,并于2010年当选欧洲分子生物学学会会士(EMBO member)。此外,Thomas Laux教授具有丰富的教学及学生指导经验,长期负责德国-法国-瑞士联合生物技术专业、欧洲植物胚胎高级研讨会等课程的组织及主持工作。目前实验室培养的学生中,已有超过20位研究者成为了世界各大知名高校的教授。
